SyrupRx is a clinical decision support tool designed exclusively for licensed dental and medical prescribers. It calculates oral liquid antibiotic dosages for pediatric patients based on published clinical guidelines. It is not intended for use by patients, caregivers, or non-clinicians.
SyrupRx provides dosing calculations to support clinical decision-making. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The tool supports but does not replace professional clinical judgment. The prescriber bears full and sole responsibility for evaluating each patient's clinical situation and for all prescribing decisions.
SyrupRx is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. While dosing data is sourced from established clinical guidelines (AAPD, FDA labeling, Sanford Guide, Hopkins ABX Guide) and every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Acharya Interactive does not guarantee that the information is correct, complete, or current. Drug guidelines and recommendations change over time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Acharya Interactive and its developers, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of SyrupRx, including but not limited to clinical outcomes, patient harm, or prescribing errors. Use of this tool is entirely at your own risk.
SyrupRx does not collect, transmit, or store any patient-identifiable information. The application processes all clinical data (patient weight, drug selection) entirely within your browser. Weight entries and clinical preferences are stored locally on your device using localStorage, which you can clear at any time through the app's "Reset All" function or your browser settings.
The only data stored remotely is your email address and subscription status, which are managed by Supabase (authentication) and Stripe (payment processing). Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never seen or stored by Acharya Interactive.
Access to SyrupRx requires a paid subscription, billed either monthly ($14.99/month) or annually ($119.88/year). Payment is processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Subscription" link in the application. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others. Each subscription is for a single licensed prescriber. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
SyrupRx, including its code, design, dosing algorithms, and content, is the property of Acharya Interactive. All rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from SyrupRx without written permission from Acharya Interactive.
Acharya Interactive reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of SyrupRx after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of _____________, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
